To the introduction of telecommunications as evidenced by the masts set up on Tele Posta towers and I&M towers. And let’s not forget the city has certainly become greener as most of the trees in the before photos have grown to quite a height and mass in the NOW photo
The constants such as the six eighty hotel, The all saints cathedral bell tower and the city council offices city clock still stand tall as a testament to times that have passed.
The last interesting aspect to note from the THEN photo is that the founding father Mzee Jomo Kenyatta was still alive when it was shot since the lot that now sits his mausoleum was empty
